With a background as a mathematician educated at the University of Oslo, followed by several years of experience in education and student administration, I now wish to contribute as the voice of the technical and administrative staff in the university board.
Throughout an active study period, during which I engaged in student councils and societies, I developed a deep understanding of the university's values, strengths, and challenges from the student perspective. In my several years as an student adviser at the department, I built on this foundation and gained firsthand experience with the challenges that arise in interactions with both students and academic staff. Combined with my current position at the faculty level, I bring extensive insight into the issues we technical and administrative staff face in our busy daily work across various levels and workplaces.
Should I earn your trust on the university board, I will emphasise the importance of the professional expertise that the technical and administrative staff possess. I will particularly work to highlight that our effort and expertise are essential in the development of innovative and effective solutions that underpin world-class teaching and research.
I will also advocate for increased collaboration between academic and technical-administrative staff to ensure a cohesive and productive environment for both employees and students. With mutual respect and cooperation, we lay the foundation for an even better study and working environment at Norway's best university.

If I earn your trust, I will be attentive and receptive to feedback from good colleagues across the entire University of Oslo.
