By applying a novel process model including mentoring, education, market exposure and global networks, SPARK Norway helps transforming good ideas into exceptional solutions.

The Research Council supports the recruitment of talented international researchers to the Research Council's centre calls and for projects funded through FRIPRO's call for experienced scientists or the call for Top Researchers. The background for the scheme is the difficult situation that many researchers and institutions are now experiencing globally. Deadline: Open-ended.

The ERC Synergy Grant (SyG) is for 2 - 4 outstanding research leaders with complementary skills and groundbreaking ideas in any field of research. Deadline: 05 November 2025.

The European Research Council's (ERC) flagship Starting Grant is for talented early-career scientists from 2-7 years after PhD. This year's call has deadline on 14 October 2025.

Circle U. has announced the 2025 Call for Flagship Initiatives on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I). Deadline: 31 October 2025.

Through the university alliance Circle U., postdoctoral fellows at UiO can apply for seed funding to carry out research projects at one of the other partner universities in the alliance. Deadline: 31 August 2025.
