In fall 2024, researchers from EMPOWER worked with teachers from an Oslo-area high school to co-design a curriculum about the sustainable use of electric vehicle batteries. As a part of her postdoc project, Emily organized and facilitated the co-design process and collected data to study collaboration in interdisciplinary, interorganizational teams. The first article from Emily's project, co-authored with Crina Damsa, was accepted for publication in spring 2025 and will appear in the Proceedings of the International Society of the Learning Sciences.
Marianne Zeyringer and Atia Azad presented their research in systems, integration and electrical energy storage.
Congratulations to Atia Azad for her insightful poster presentation at the Future of Energy is Green and Digital conference, which was hosted by University of Oslo and Oslo Science City.
An evening with short talks from young researchers, including EMPOWER's Dora Soldis Asmundardottir. A great opportunity to learn about exciting research in sustainable energy and the energy transition!
Arian Mahzouni is working as a visiting research fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies on Science, Technology and Society (IAS-STS) at Graz University of Technology in Austria.
A group of students from the University of Oslo visited Hydrovolt`s innovative battery recycling facility.
As the energy landscape continues to evolve, staying updated on the latest advancements in battery technology is crucial. That's why EMPOWER connected with industry experts at this event.

EMPOWER attended a Battchain conference.

EMPOWER participated in a seminar from January 18th to 19th, 2024. The event provided a platform for insightful presentations and discussions of our research findings.
