As the academic year winds down, we’re inviting all international master’s students at UiO to a laid-back island outing to Hoved?ya—one of Oslo’s favourite summer spots, just a short ferry ride from the city centre.
Whether you’ve just submitted your final thesis or are heading into another year at UiO, this is a chance to unwind, reflect on the past months, and connect with other master’s students in an informal setting.
Our international student ambassadors will bring snacks and casual park games. Come on your own or with friends—this is an easy way to meet new people, celebrate the end of the semester, and enjoy a classic Oslo summer afternoon.

? Cost: You will need a Zone 1 ticket with Ruter, unless you have a valid monthly travel card
? What to bring: Swimwear, towel, something to sit on, and your own drinks
