Curriculum
The curriculum is basically everything I covered in class. Except for the note on the element method, it is taken from Evans' book Partial Differential Equations. All page and section numbers refer to the second edition.
? Appendices. I will not ask about this material, but it is useful to know.
? Sobolev spaces. Chapter 5, the entire chapter except section 5.6.3.
? Second order elliptic equations. Chapter 5, pages: 311–331, 332–343 (results, not proofs), 344–351, 354–360.
? Linear evolution equations, section 7.1: Second-order parabolic equations. Chapter 7, pages: 371–384, 384–388 (results, not proofs), 389–391.
