There will be a digital lecturer's round in Zoom at the day of the exam. The round will start at 10.00, and you will all be invited inn. I will talk to one candidate at the time using the meeting room function in Zoom.

In general, the following guidelines apply in courses at the Department of Mathematics:
- The examination lasts 4 hours. In addition, you will have an extra 30 minutes to scan and upload your PDF.
- All examination aids are allowed (e.g. books, online resources, scientific programming tools, etc.).
- It is not allowed to collaborate or communicate with others during the exam about the assignments.
- You can be picked out for a meeting to check that you understand the content of your examination attempt. The meeting will not affect your grade, but it can result in a formal investigation into possible cheating. The Oslo section of the Norwegian Statistical Association (Norsk Statistisk Forening) invites you all to a Statistics evening with a very actual presentation by Geir Storvik, Professor in Statistics, UiO, on how Sequential Monte Carlo for Covid-19 is used in Norway.
We shall also have free sushi, pizza, beverages and a great social gathering with your fellow statisticians.

...I have set up the delivery in CANVAS. Note that the Mandatory assignment is the compulsory exercises consisting of two parts, Part 1 and Part 2. Both parts can be found on the course page.
I put it out by request.
My recommendation is to wait with these until after we have been through the syllabus, and you have completed the compulsory exercise part 1 and 2.
I'll go through it today in exercise

*Read the Chapter 1 in Bayesian modeling (intro) We will start on Integration methods next time
*Look over previous exercises and scripts from class (open scrits in R and run them to test)

There is an issue with the exam date on the homepage. I have not been notified that the date should change, so this is most likely a technical issue about what that is displayed. The administration has been made aware of the problem, they will fix it.
