Transkribus is a comprehensive platform for the digitisation, AI-powered text recognition, transcription, and searching of historical documents. In this workshop you will get a demonstration of Transkribus and learn how you can use this tool in your research.
This online workshop over 4 half days (25 - 28 Oct, 9am-12pm) will be streamed on Twitch and is open for all, so no registration is needed.

This online event is a combination of workshop (17th Mar) and hackathon (24th Mar) for you who are already working on scientific programming but not yet extensively testing your codes or scripts. Participation by a team is recommended.
This course is especially suitable to new researchers or students trying to understand computational/data analysis options available at UiO and in general. It won’t go into anything too deep but will provide you with a good background for your next steps to use the resources: you will know the general types of resources you can use for computing, and be able to take the next steps.
