Background
Aleksandra joined UiO, DLN, and dScience to work on the final year of the Innovation Roadmap project as a senior advisor in innovation, managining the project together with Andy Boyce. Her main task is to contribute to the implementation of the Innovation Roadmap Strategy, with the goal of strengthening biotechnological innovation based on academic research in Norway.
Aleksandra has a background in leading innovation projects with commercialization potential. She holds a PhD in molecular cell biology from UiO, and during her postdoc she specialized in cancer research, leading a drug discovery and development initiative (SPARK project). She has worked as a researcher, advisor/consultant and V.P. Preclinical Studies in startup companies, where she led and managed a variety of projects.
