    • Facilitating collaboration across disciplines, industrial and public sectors. Creating and maintaining meeting places and networks for students, researchers, and partners.
  • dScience Partner Program
    • Connecting UiO's computational and data science research with industry and public sector needs through partnerships with leading organisations in Norway.
  • Data Science Analytics Group
    • Accelerating data science integration in research projects through data management, HPC, AI and interactive data analysis.
  • Research and Projects
    • Crucial initiator and key supporter for project applications and project development at the University of Oslo. Hosts, coordinates and facilitates several large projects.

What is Computational Science and Data Science?

Computational science is about the development of methods and algorithms to solve and understand complex phenomena and problems. Data science is about the development of methods, algorithms and systems to organize, refine and extract knowledge from data. dScience merges computational science and data science.
