Since 2004, she has been a Professor at the Department of Nutrition at the University of Oslo and a Visiting Professor at University of Oxford. She is a world-renowned researcher on homocysteine, B vitamins, cysteine, and their roles in cardiovascular disease, dementia, and obesity.
