NVA- Reporting your scientific publications

?

The Norwegian Research Information Repository (NVA) collects and provides access to Norwegian research. NVA replaced Cristin in 2025. The researchers are themselves responsible for ensuring that their publications are registered, while approval of the entries is the responsibility of the superuser and the Head of Research.

IFI superusers (curators): Dyveke Johnsen, mail dyvekej @ uio.no and Runa Jarsve, mail: runaja @ ifi.uio.no

Your deadline – 31 January 2026

Make sure your scientific publications published in 2025 are registered in NVA. (Mandatory registration applies only to publications affiliated with IFI or its sub-units. You may also register other publications if you wish.)

If you miss the deadline – Please inform the IFI superuser as soon as possible: We will continue to collect and register publications as long as needed before approval deadline.

Uploading full texts: Every registered publication must be accompanied by a full text file.

  • If the publication has a CC license, you can use the published PDF.
  • If it does not have a CC license, use a PDF with the Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM). You can upload the AAM regardless of the publisher's self-archiving policies and any publishing agreements made.
You can either:
1. Send the PDF to the IFI superusers for upload, or
2. Upload it yourself directly to NVA.
