Ready to use
Meldeappen has now been moved from the “for ansatte” pages to meldeappen.uio.no and is ready to use.
The updated Meldeappen has been developed to make the registration and overview of personal data more user-friendly and efficient, and to ensure better quality in registrations. The app has been updated with, among other things, new guidance, new and revised questions, and a distinction between the registration of processing activities and systems. This will provide UiO with better support for its data protection work.
What is Meldeappen?
UiO is required to maintain an overview of all activities where personal data is processed. We must ensure control over where we process personal data, whose data we process, and for what purposes, among other things.
In Meldeappen, we register administrative processing activities and the systems used to process personal data, ensuring that UiO complies with the regulations for the protection of personal data.
For those who have registered in Meldeappen
All previous registrations have been transferred to the new version. This means you will find your earlier entries, but the structure and some questions may look different. The main difference is that the new Meldeappen distinguishes between “system” and “processing activity,” which means you will need to enter the app and provide additional information. Everyone listed as responsible for a registration will receive an email with instructions on what needs to be done.
