In recent weeks, there have been several minor arson incidents at Nedre Blindern and one case in 澳门皇冠体育,皇冠足球比分sparken. All of them were quickly detected and extinguished. The police have opened an investigation into the events. Access card and code is now required to enter the buildings.

The University Board at UiO adopted on 10 March 2026 the Master Plan for the University’s IT for the period 2026–2029. The plan builds on successful measures and activities initiated under the framework of the first master plan from 2019. Strategic choices, measures and priorities have been adjusted in light of the status and framework conditions for IT operations in 2026.

UiO has several different support schemes for innovative researchers: seed funding from the UiO Growth House and innovation funding from UiO as well as admission to the innovation programmes SPARK Norway and SPARK Social Innovation.
