The University of Oslo has introduced a new procedure for registering holidays for academic staff. It was partially implemented in 2025, but from 2026 onwards holidays in July will be pre-registered for everyone in this staff category.

If you are experiencing problems with applications/programs not starting, or that you have a black screen after logging in to the machine, you have been affected by this error.
