Academic staff, postdoctors and PhD-students within the life sciences at the University of Oslo can apply for funding to strengthen collaboration with international research environments. The next application deadline is 1 June 2026.

The Norway Life Science Conference 2026 will address the areas where Norway has world-leading research. How can we, based on these areas, facilitate knowledge-based innovation, a competitive life sciences industry, and increased national value creation?
Neurodevelopmental conditions,?embryonic development, biodiversity, cancer control, medications,?addiction, mental health and drug delivery?are topics the new convergence environments will explore.

The Honours Certificate in Life Science Innovation was offered for the first time at the University of Oslo last year, and already 14 students have successfully completed the programme and earned the certificate.
