Save the File in the Correct Format

Upload the File
- 
		
Log in to https://uio.atea-signage.no/ContentManager/.
 - 
		
Go to Media → + New → Media upload.
 - 
		
Click Add → select the file → Open.
 - 
		
Under Folder, choose the directory for your building or campaign.
 - 
		
Click Upload and wait until the status shows ?.
 
Add the File to a Playlist
- 
		
Open Playlists.
 - 
		
Do you already have a relevant playlist?
- Yes → double-click the playlist.
 - No → click + New to create one (see separate guide).
 
 - 
		
Click Add Media → tick the file you just uploaded → Add & Close.
 - 
		
Drag the file to the correct position in the playlist if order matters.
 - 
		
Save and close the playlist.
 
Link Playlist to Channel and Schedule
- 
		
Go to Channels → open the channel for your screen.
 - 
		
Click View Schedule.
 - 
		
Click New → Change playlist → select the playlist.
 - 
		
Set the date and time (e.g. valid for two weeks, 06:00–22:00).
 - 
		
Click Save.
 
Generate Plan to Player
- 
		
Go to Players.
 - 
		
Tick the relevant player.
 - 
		
Select Generate Plan to send the change immediately.
 - 
		
Ensure the status is green.
 
Verify on the Physical Screen
- 
		
Go to the screen.
 - 
		
Confirm that the notice:
- Displays with the correct colours and contrast
 - Fills the entire screen without stretching or black borders
 - Appears at the correct time (allow up to 1 minute after schedule).
 
 - If something looks wrong:
		
- Re-check resolution and contrast.
 - Update the playlist and generate the plan again.
 - If the problem persists, follow “Digital Signage – Report Faults”.
 
 
Quick Troubleshooting
