Adobe Acrobat Pro on UiO Program Kiosk will be discontinued
Many people at UiO use Adobe Acrobat Pro via the UiO Program Kiosk to edit PDF files. For security reasons, the use of Adobe Acrobat Pro via the UiO Program Kiosk will be discontinued from April 13th.
New application for editing PDF Files
When Adobe Acrobat Pro is removed from the UiO Program Kiosk on April 13th, the application PDFgear will be the standard. PDFgear is already available on the UiO Program Kiosk, so you can start getting familiar with it now.
This is what PDFgear looks like when opened on the UiO Program Kiosk.
The main access to functions is on the left side of the image where you can choose Open file, Create file, or Scan Document to PDF. The buttons in the middle of the image are frequently used tools.
