Are you experiencing issues with your email and calendar syncing on your mobile phone?

Users who do not use Outlook Mobile for email and calendar on their phones or tablets may experience issues with new emails and calendar entries not syncing to their devices.

Technology is being replaced, and apps may stop working

At UiO, we recommend using Outlook Mobile for email and calendar on mobile phones and tablets, for both iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android devices. The vendor is currently phasing out older versions of a technology used by several email and calendar apps. Apps using these older versions will stop functioning, meaning you will no longer be able to send or receive emails or view calendar entries.

  • If you are already using Outlook Mobile on your phone or tablet, no action is required.
  • If you are using a different app for email and calendar on your device, we recommend double-checking that you have the latest version of the app installed and that your operating system (OS) is fully updated.

If you still experience interruptions with your email or calendar sync on your mobile device, we recommend switching to Outlook Mobile.
