Log in using Omnissa Horizon Client (recommended)
If you have a UiO machine, you can install Omnissa Horizon Client through Software Center. Otherwise, download and install it from the Omissa download page.
- Open Omnissa on your machine
- The first time you run the client for Educloud you need to connect to UiO's server. Click?Add server
- Enter?view.educloud.no??into the text field in the pop up window and click?Connect
- You will be asked to enter your Educloud username and one-time code. Click?Login?after giving your credentials

- When you have entered your username and one-time code successfully, please enter your Educloud password?
- You have now successfully added (and logged in to) the Educloud server in Omnissa Horizon, and the available desktops will appear.

Log in using browser
Desktops in Educloud are accessible via browser. This is?not recommended?but necessary for those who cannot install Omnissa Horizon Client
- In your browser go to?view.educloud.no
- Click on?Omnissa Horizon HTML Access
- Enter your?Educloud username and one-time-code.?You will then be asked to put in you Educloud?password
- You will see the available machines you can connect to
- Double-click?the machine you want to connect to
- The screen will go to black for a few seconds while you are being connected.

Book a Zoom meeting
Students and employees can book a Zoom meeting with UiO Helpdesk. Available hours are Tuesday to Thursday between 11:00 and 13:00.
