We invite you to take part in an evening of discussion on nuclear energy in Norway and Europe with opportunities for networking and expert talks.

DNV invites all physics students, both bachelor’s and master’s students, to a company presentation at its offices in H?vik on Thursday, April 16.

The theme of the evening will be DNV’s new nuclear power report, which will be published on April 8. The report builds on the work of the expert commission appointed by the Norwegian Parliament in 2024 and addresses Norway’s future in nuclear energy. Both students and DNV employees are invited, and there will be opportunities for mingling and discussion around the topic, with food and drinks served. This will be a great opportunity to meet DNV employees, connect with former physics students, and gain insight into working life after graduation.

Who can apply?

Students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or relevant professional degree program at the University of Oslo are eligible to apply.

Application deadline: The application form opens Friday 13 February 2026 at 08:00.

The first 150 applicants will be admitted to a matchmaking seminar with project owners Tuesday 10 March 14:00-17:00 at Blindern. In the seminar, the students will meet researchers who will present their projects. They will subsequently rate the projects, and the project leaders will rate the students they have met. UiO:Life Science will then combine the ratings and assign 50 students to around 40 projects.

You must use two-factor authentication (secure login) for Microsoft 365 (Word, OneDrive, Teams etc.) and Feide (Canvas, My Studies etc.) at UiO. Confirm your login with a mobile phone.
