DSTrain
DSTrain is a 5-year postdoctoral programme that will award 36 postdoctoral fellowship positions of 36 months each in two calls over the programme period within the overarching frame of data science. The programme will train researchers and innovators with disciplinary, interdisciplinary and transferable skills and a foundation in data science methods enabling them to become Europe’s digital leaders across disciplines and sectors.

Second DSTrain Cohort Kicks Off Nov. 17, 2025 3:00 PM
The second cohort of DSTrain postdoctoral fellows officially launched their three-year research journey on 7 November as they gathered in Oslo for the 2025 DSTrain Kick-Off Seminar. The event brought together the newly recruited researchers from Call 2, their supervisors, and dScience staff for a full-day programme designed to inspire, inform, and connect.

TRUST Becomes National Centre for Artificial Intelligence – Awarded Funding by the Research Council of Norway June 11, 2025 3:58 PM
The Research Council of Norway announced the research environments selected to receive national research centre status for artificial intelligence (AI) at a press conference on 11 June 2025. Among those chosen is TRUST – The Norwegian Centre for Trustworthy AI – which will now receive substantial support to establish a national research centre, with its core located in Oslo Science City. TRUST will be led by the University of Oslo (UiO), SINTEF, and the Norwegian Computing Center (NR).
