The second cohort of DSTrain postdoctoral fellows officially launched their three-year research journey on 7 November as they gathered in Oslo for the 2025 DSTrain Kick-Off Seminar. The event brought together the newly recruited researchers from Call 2, their supervisors, and dScience staff for a full-day programme designed to inspire, inform, and connect.

The Research Council of Norway announced the research environments selected to receive national research centre status for artificial intelligence (AI) at a press conference on 11 June 2025. Among those chosen is TRUST – The Norwegian Centre for Trustworthy AI – which will now receive substantial support to establish a national research centre, with its core located in Oslo Science City.
