How to show films legally
- The university has an agreement with the Motion Picture Licensing Company (MPLC) (in Norwegian), which gives all students and academic staff the right to show films from all MPLC partners. See the list of production companies covered by the license (mplc.no) (in Norwegian). The license applies to all film screenings on campus.
- Through the Norwaco agreement, the University of Oslo has the right to show a number of Norwegian feature films. The license is limited to showing films for educational purposes. The relevant films are listed on Norwaco's website ( (norwaco.no)
