The election will take place from 26 May to 1 June 2026. If you are a part of the fixed-term academic staff at UiO, you will have the opportunity to choose who you want as a representative on the University Board for the upcoming period.?

Understand how the University Board works
The University Board is responsible for ensuring that the institution maintains high academic standards and is run efficiently and in accordance with current laws and regulations. All institutional decisions made by parties other than the Board shall be made following delegation from the Board and are the responsibility of the Board.

Who can vote in this election?
Fixed-term academic staff employed in at least a 50% position, or in a temporary position as Professor II, have the right to vote in this election.
The election will be conducted electronically and opens on 26 May at 08:00.
