Dear all
Following up on the message from yesterday, I just wanted to let you know that the Student Guide to Biodesign on the syllabus for this weeks lecture is now available again online. Please let me know if you have any issues with this going forwards.
Kind regards,?
Troels
Dear all
This is just to address up front that it has come to my attention that the Stanford Student Guide to BioDesign, that is listed on the syllabus for lecture 12, is currently unavailable online. It is still not clear to me if this is a temporary problem with the web page as it was available earlier this semester. Nonetheless it is obviously quite unfortunate.?
For today, I will do my best to introduce this framework anyway, and I will then look into a more lasting solution afterwards.?
Kind regards,?
Troels
Dear all
The schedule for the IN4380 exam is now ready and you can find it here (also available under lecture 14 on the course page, together with the detailed instructions and exam questions).?
Please be aware of the following:
- Participation in the exam requires that you have 9 out of 13 reflection notes approved. If you do not have this by the end of the course, your name will be automatically removed from the schedule.
- Minor adjustments to the schedule may occur, meaning your exam time can be changed, although the day will remain the same. No students will be moved from one exam day to another.
Kind regards,?
Sune and Troels

Dear all
A document containing instructions and questions for the oral exam has now been shared. You can find this on the course page under Lecture 14: Course Summary or here.
The seminar today was spent on introducing the exam and answering the questions that emerged. Beyond this, we will answer all the questions that may emerge on Lecture 14: Course Summary on May 5th. We will not answer questions via email.
Beyond this, two messages:
- If you are legitimately prevented in participating in the exam on one of the announced dates (May 6th and 7th), for instance if you are blocked by other courses or by work obligations, we will of course take this into consideration when planning the exam. If so, please send an email to monsted@ifi.uio.no and explain the reason no later than Tues...
Dear all
The submission of your reflection essays from seminar 1 is now open and you should be able to access this on Devilry - the assignments for the rest of the reflection essays will follow shortly. Please let me know if you have any issues submitting your responses.?
Kind regards,?
Troels?
Dear all,
We look forward to the course and seeing you on Tuesday.
Please be aware that there is no scheduled seminar after the introductory lecture, i.e., we do NOT meet on Wednesday, the 21st of January.
See you all soon.
Kind regards, Troels and Sune
